Raspberry Almond Thumbprints and Mexican Wedding Cakes

If you're looking for a quick little cookie to add to your Christmas baking, these two are perfect.
Every single year when I begin planning what cookies I will be making, I ask my family which cookie they just have to have, and every single year my dad shouts out "Mexican wedding cakes!" before I can even finish my sentence. I am not going to complain though because these cookies are so so flakey and buttery, so easy to make, and always come out delicious.
I decided to make raspberry thumbprints for the first time ever this year, and I am so glad I did! They are so good, have the perfect raspberry to cookie ratio, and have the perfect amount of sweetness from the cookie and tartness from the raspberries!
I highly recommend both of these cookies, and if you make them, let me know how they turn out!
